This training provides practical guidance on how to create accessible video content by applying WCAG 2.1 captioning requirements in a higher education setting. It explains why captions matter for access, learning, and compliance, and walks faculty and staff through what makes captions accurate, readable, and usable.

By the end of the training, participants will understand when captions are required, how to evaluate and improve caption quality, how to handle auto-captions and third-party content, and what steps they can take to ensure their course videos are accessible and compliant.
